About LetsFindMovie

LetsFindMovie exists to settle one argument that happens on couches everywhere: “Okay, but where do we actually watch it?” Type in any movie or series and we'll show you where it's streaming, where you can rent or buy it, and what it'll cost you — across Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Max, JioHotstar, Apple TV+ and dozens more, all tuned to your country. Then we pile on the useful stuff: ratings, cast, trailers, runtimes and a few honest opinions.

How we got here

We started in 2020 because movie night kept dying the same death — twenty minutes of “is this on Netflix or do we have to pay for it?”, four apps open, snacks going stale. So we built the tool we wished existed: one search box that just tells you where a title lives, wherever you are. No app-hopping, no guesswork. Today LetsFindMovie tracks availability across 40+ markets, and it's grown entirely through people typing “where to watch …” into a search bar and landing here.

Where our data comes from

Catalogue details — titles, cast and crew, release dates, synopses, genres and runtimes — come from The Movie Database (TMDB), a brilliant community-maintained project we build on top of. “Where to watch” availability for streaming, rental and purchase is sourced from provider feeds via TMDB and refreshed continuously. Trailers come from YouTube's official endpoints. We never host or stream anything ourselves — every link sends you straight to the streamer's own page.

Streaming rights move constantly: a title on Netflix today might hop to JioHotstar next month. We surface the freshest data we have and date-stamp every page so you can see when we last checked.

The human bits

Anyone can rehash a synopsis. The parts of LetsFindMovie that aren't raw data — the “Our take” capsules, the themed lists, the weekly picks and the little summaries — are written by actual people who watched the thing. If a title has a hand-written take, someone on the desk decided it earned one and stands behind it.
