She popped up in guest spots on such TV shows as "Dallas," "Vega$," "The Jeffersons," and "T.J. Hooker." She briefly appeared as a sunbather in Samuel Fuller's outstanding "White Dog." Emerson had a recurring role on the popular daytime soap opera "The Edge of Night."
